We had been merrily cycling along the coastal bike path when suddenly torrential rain hit and we got absolutely soaked. We went searching for shelter and stumbled upon Taiwanese "Butlins". At 14.34 we were drying off and awaiting our lunch. Happy days!

At 14.34 we were at Tarako National Park cruising round on a bike exploring the gorge and its trails.

We had put our bags in lockers at the train station for a few hours whilst we pottered about before our train at Hualien. We were hiking the Elephant Trail and at 14.34 we were contemplating which direction we should go in. Having climbed more steps than I can count, I was keen for a bit of respite.
